A ten-minute weekly records routine for Bybit users
Records kept weekly take minutes; records reconstructed a year later take days. A short weekly routine for Bybit users to capture deposits, withdrawals, trades and fees in one simple sheet.
Bybit | the reader's region | the reader's funding currency | referral terms and fee claims
The history inside the Bybit app is useful day to day, but it is spread across several pages and may limit how far back you can export at once. When you need an old transaction ID, a year's total of fees or an explanation of where funds came from, piecing it together can take hours. A ten-minute routine once a week keeps a simple sheet up to date and makes those questions easy to answer. This guide explains what to capture and how. It offers no tax advice; consult a qualified professional for that.
One sheet, a few columns
Create a spreadsheet with columns for date, activity type, asset, amount, network, fee, transaction ID or order number, and a short note. Activity types might be deposit, withdrawal, trade, conversion and internal transfer. Keep it simple at first. A sheet with eight columns that you actually fill in is far more valuable than an elaborate template you abandon after a month.
The weekly ten minutes
Pick a fixed time each week. Open the Bybit history pages and add every deposit and withdrawal from the past week, copying transaction IDs directly. For trading, add a weekly summary or export the trade history and save the file alongside the sheet. Then compare the balance shown in the app with what your sheet suggests, and note any difference.
Investigate small differences early
When the sheet and the app disagree, find out why while the week is still fresh. The usual causes are a fee you forgot, an internal transfer you did not record or a typing mistake. Also look for any activity you do not recognise. If you find some, change your password, review sessions and API keys and contact Bybit support through the app.
Store it safely
The sheet contains personal financial information. Keep it on a password-protected device or in cloud storage with two-step verification, and keep a backup elsewhere. Never store passwords, verification codes or API secrets in the same file. If you share a summary with an adviser, remove account identifiers and anything they do not need.
Risk boundary: Bybit Referral Terms Guide
Digital assets are volatile and derivatives can amplify losses. This website has no login, wallet connection, deposit form or customer-support chat. A referral link only records attribution; it does not guarantee access, pricing, rewards, approval or investment results. Availability can differ by residence, legal entity and product, so no regional access is assumed from language or branding alone.
